I’m Charlotte, a qualified hypnotherapist from Hadleigh in Suffolk.
Now in my fifties, I have weathered a variety of work and indeed, life experiences. As a mum to two young adults, I have been "at the sharp end" for a few years and I am very aware that life doesn't always run smoothly. The challenges with which any one of us can be presented often require some help and support. A highly empathic individual and professional practitioner, I can offer you such help and support. As a qualified hypnotherapist, I understand and respect the value of you as an individual and that of your own unique situation. Therefore, I will tailor your treatment programme specifically to you and your needs, helping you to achieve your goals and fulfil your potential.
I have extensive experience in working with a variety of people, as a nurse, a youth worker and as a Learning Support Assistant in a secondary school and in specialist education provision.  Studying for my BSc in Behavioural Sciences (Psychology and Sociology) provided a great opportunity to learn about the relationship between physical, mental and emotional well-being and how all each can affect the other and that all can be influenced by life events.
The great thing about hypnotherapy is that it can find the root cause of many problems, which can then be addressed with the assistance of the therapist.  Having helped individuals to make significant changes to their lives, I am a passionate believer in this powerful, yet gentle, non-medical therapy.  I feel honoured by the fact that people choose to work with me to overcome their difficulties and achieve their goals and it is nothing less than a joy when I receive a text message or an e-mail from a client telling me how much better they feel.
If you come to me for therapy, you can be assured of a unique treatment plan. The therapeutic techniques that I use include suggestion therapy, hypnoanalysis and guided imagery.  Always determined to offer the best that I can, I engage with a variety of training opportunities, to ensure that my knowledge and understanding of hypnotherapy is current.  I am also studying for my diploma in counselling.
I am a member of the National Hypnotherapy Society and I am fully insured to practice.  I am also an Anxiety UK Approved Therapist providing therapeutic support to the charity's members and partner beneficiaries.  I am subject to Anxiety UK's regular monitoring of my professional qualifications, supervision, continual professional development, insurance and professional body membership in addition to complying with the ethical framework and professional standards set down by my registered governing body.

As a registered Hypnotherapy In Schools Programme practitioner, I am able to offer treatment to individual and groups of children within their school setting.  Because schools buy into the programme, it means that people who might not otherwise be able to access hypnotherapy can benefit from this treatment.
