Online therapy

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, when I was no longer able to provide my clients with face-to-face contact, I undertook training in the delivery of online therapy. I am pleased to say that I can offer this as an alternative to face-to-face therapy.

In order to receive online therapy, you will need a computer or laptop with a reliable WiFi connection, webcam and microphone. You will need a private, quiet space where you can guarantee being undisturbed for the duration of the session and a comfortable, supportive chair or couch.

There are many reasons why people might choose this option, and it does not have to be due to a “lockdown” situation. Some like the flexibility that online therapy allows, whilst others find it convenient not to have to travel to appointments. However, it is important to note that online therapy is not suitable for everyone, nor is it suitable for everything. Some issues require face-to-face work.
