Privacy Policy

I require your name and contact details (email address and telephone numbers), your Next of Kin’s contact details and those of your GP.  I require these for the purpose of contacting you to arrange or amend our appointments, to obtain your GP’s consent to treat you with hypnotherapy (this is occasionally necessary) and to ensure I have someone to contact in the unlikely event of an emergency.

All your personal information and any documentation relating to you are completely confidential and will be held in accordance with the GDPR.  My practice is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office – Reference ZA599961.

Data Protection

Most information that I store about you or referring to you will not be stored digitally.  Any digital documents are password-protected.  All records are hand-written and kept in locked storage to which only I have access.  Most of our email contact will use the secure server, Protonmail and is therefore encrypted.  For ease of use and compatibility, occasional email communications will not be via Protonmail.  In this instance, it is not a fully secure means of communication.
